Classic Sourdough Loaf

A cozy, beginner-friendly sourdough with a crisp crust and soft interior.

Ingredients

  • 500g bread flour
  • 350g water
  • 100g sourdough starter
  • 10g salt

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and water and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Add starter and salt, then mix well.
  3. Bulk ferment for 4–6 hours.
  4. Shape and proof overnight.
  5. Bake at 450°F for 30–40 minutes.
Tip: Let the bread cool completely before slicing for the best texture.
